So I decided not to long a ago that I was ready to get a new blog site for my photography. I began building the new blogger and now it's up and ready for viewing. If you follow me on this one, I ask that you go and connect to the new one. It's got the information that you'll need to my photography. I do hope that you all like the new layout. Meet Paula. I've known this girl for about 4 years now. We met at a little church in Austin and she's been a bright little piece of sunshine in my life since then. She's full of life, caring, absolutely lovable and beautiful! She's turning 18 on Oct. 15th and I must say, she's owning up to that adult title very well.

We had a BLAST doing this shoot for her Birthday. She was such a little trooper traipsing around in her high heels out in a very unleveled field, fighting windy conditions during the last part of the shoot and then braving, yes, a train. I don't take my shoots lightly. Ha!

Through it all, Paula remained AWESOME and high spirited. You WILL be seeing more of this girl in the future...

The next couple of pictures was taken at the very end of the day...As we started to wrap up the shoot on the tracks, I heard the whistle of the approaching train. I told Paula to quickly scatter off and take her position in front! It was quite hilarious seeing us slip and slide coming off the tracks! But Alas! We got the shot and a couple more like it...Paula was a trooper I must say!

And she was Brave;-)

Wondering what my prices are? Well wonder no more! Here is quick run down of what I have to offer and their prices:

PORTRAITS:

· Single (1 hour) portrait session: $80 - Includes up to 80 poses, two outfit changes, and picture CD with fully edited pictures*.

· VIP (2 hour) portrait session: $125 - Includes up to 125 poses, can include up to 2 extra individuals (pets included), two outfit changes, and picture CD with fully edited pictures*.

* Includes a waver for release by me, consenting to the printing of the photographs. IF you would like to forgo the CD, upon request, I will print the pictures myself, which will be an extra $15 to the total cost.

SENIOR:

· (2 hour) Senior session: $125 - Includes up to 125 poses ( 20+ poses with Cap and Gown) two outfit changes, 2 background changes and picture CD with fully edited pictures*.

· Cap and Gown Session (1 hour): $60 - Includes up to 60 poses, and picture CD with fully edited pictures*.

* Includes a waver for release by me, consenting to the printing of the photographs. IF you would like to forgo the CD, upon request, I will print the pictures myself, which will be an extra $15 to the total cost.

ENGAGEMENT/BRIDAL/WEDDING:

© Blissful (1 hour) Engagement Session: $130 - Includes up to 120 poses and picture CD with fully edited pictures*.

© Happily Ever After (2 hour) Engagement Session: $150 - Includes up to 150 poses and picture CD with fully edited pictures*.

© Bridal Session: $350- 2 hours of all about YOU! Multiple background changes if desired, up to 150 poses, 1 canvas sized picture** of a pose
of your choosing for your wedding reception and picture CD with fully edited pictures*.

© Wedding: $600- Your wedding session will include: Pictures of the Bridal party( Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, flower girls, parents of Bride and Groom, ect.) the Cake, reception area, Bridal extras( Bouquets, shoes, and dress) Wedding ceremony, Bride and Groom session w/ Bridal party, the Reception, and a picture CD with fully edited pictures*. A photo book can be included upon request for additional $100***.

Summer time in Belvidere, IL

A few months ago, me and my family went to Belvidere, Illinois for the weekend. While we were there, we went to their beautiful parks that they have and downtown Belvidere. Much of Belvidere is very historic dating back to the 1800s'. Most of the bulidings that were in use then, are still in use today, making Belivdere a very amazing and charming place to visit. You'll see pictures from the park that I shot my family photo session at and downtown.

I HEART Faces Challenge: Photo Editing fun!

I heart faces is doing a photo editing to challenge to see what editing styles everyone can come up with for the given photograph. What I did was, made the picture more vibrant, gave the little girl a more smooth, dreamy like state skin, more vivid eyes and made her hair more true to color. Then I applied a cross process to add just a bit a depth.

I have to say this was arguably one of the funnest shoots I've done yet. I do give credit to Sam though. Without him helping me make Aaron crack up when need be, I think we would have had a whole lot of "James Dean" type pictures. But, then again...I can not complain. His serious pictures I shot came out to be my favorites.

And then you have the fact that Aaron is a doll. True story. End of story.

My cousin Brittany got married this past Saturday and I was also able to do some bridal pictures while I was there. With them living 3 hours away, it made it difficult to be able to do her bridal before her wedding...BUT alas! They turned out beautiful and she made a beautiful bride! I'll post more as I get them done but this is just a small taste of her Bridal portraits...

I was a server at my Friend Hailey (Melton) Hollands wedding March 1st.

Needless to stay she was just STUNNING! The whole wedding was just beautiful and everything just flowed so well. Very classy.

I was able to get some pictures (Though I would have loved to have taken more of this wedding) and just the few I got, all I can say is wow. Such a classic wedding and classic bride.

CONGRATS Kenny and Hailey on getting married! I wish you both blessings and a "Happily Ever After" =)

On a stormy day

One look at this picture and it would appear that it was taken on very stormy day. The dark and grayish clouds swirling in the sky behind the very scary bare tree branches would say that this picture was indeed taken on such a day. But that is not case! This picture was actually taken on a very beautiful sunny day. Amazing what photo editing can do, isn't it?

This is stained glass dome ceiling at my church. It's so beautiful and I wanted to capture it in a very artistic way. I wanted the biblical pictures to really stand out so I wanted everything but those pictures to be in black and white. I think the result is pretty good.
